Cable conductor to the long-term permissible operating temperature is not more than:
Polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene insulation aerial cable: 70 ℃;
Crosslinked polyethylene insulated overhead cable: 90 ℃.
Short circuit ( the longest lasting no longer than 5 seconds ) cable conductor at the highest temperature should not exceed:
PVC insulated aerial cable: 160 ℃;
PE insulated overhead cable: 130 ℃;
Crosslinked polyethylene insulated overhead cable: 250 ℃.
When laying the cable, the ambient temperature should not be lower than 20 ℃.
Permissible bending radius of cable:
Cable diameter ( D ) is less than 25mm, shall be not less than 4 times of the cable diameter;
Cable diameter ( D ) is equal to or exceed 25mm, shall be not less than 6 times of the cable diameter.
When the cables use in alternating current system, the rated voltage of cable should be at least equal to the rated voltage of the system; when the cable is used in DC system,
The system of rated voltage should be not greater than 15 times of the rated voltage of cable.
